OPPORTUNITY HUB @ HERMAN J. RUSSELL

ABOUT THIS LOCATION

The new OHUB@HJR Innovation Campus, a joint venture with Herman J. Russell, is located on the main floor of the Lofts at Castleberry Hill on Northside Drive, just a block south from the new Falcons stadium. With over 4,300 square feet of open space and a lounge, OHUB @ HJR is the definition of communal and collaborative co-working. A strategic venture between OHUB and Herman J. Russell, OHUB@HJR will connect Atlanta University Center (Morehouse, Spelman, Clark, and Interdenominational Theological Seminary) and the MLK Corridor to Atlanta’s growing entrepreneurial startup ecosystem. Chuck and Patrice Barlow, Jr. served as its campus managers.

This campus was closed with the TechSquare Labs merger.

The original Paschal’s Restaurant was opened in 1947 and located at 831 West Hunter Street, just west of downtown Atlanta. Over the next three decades the restaurant grew into the central hub for entertainers, politicians, and the growing Civil Rights movement led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In 2002 real estate icon Herman J. Russell teamed up with James Paschal to open a 21st District. This new Paschal’s is part of larger mixed-use development with lofts, and event and commercial space.
